Just bought a 1985 MB here in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. I read somewhere that MBs were only exported to Oz and Cyprus. Anyone any idea how many made it here?
Details
Chassis no. SS40T - 201449
Engine F5A 1451508
Mileage 63,000 on speedo although I suspect this may actually be 163,000
First registered in Cyprus 1985.
Car is bog standard and in serious need of TLC.
Very much a rattlewaggon but I had 55mph on the straight yesterday!! |

| welcome. about all i can tell you is that a reasonable motor should be good for around 110kph, or 70 mph, although may take some time to get there. if you can pick up a motor and gearbox from a 800cc (796cc) suzi hatch/alto not a swift around 82-88 vintage you will be a lot better off and it is a straight forward conversion. |
